New York High School Basketball - Proctor tops Amsterdam
December 28, 2022: Amsterdam, NY 12010 Proctor Raiders (Utica, NY) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Amsterdam Rams (Amsterdam, NY), 44-36 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Proctor upgrades its record to 3-3 on the campaign. The Raiders host Holland Patent (Holland Patent, NY) to play the Golden Knights in a non-league bout on Wednesday, January 4. The Golden Knights come into the bout with a record of 4-1.
Next up, the Rams play the Scotia-Glenville Tartans (Scotia, NY) in a Section 2 Foothills bout, on Thursday, January 5. Amsterdam will attempt to upgrade on its 4-5 season record. The Tartans come into the bout with a 3-4 record after their 58-41 non-league loss to Schalmont (Schenectady, NY).
