Comanche Indians (Comanche, TX) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Bangs Dragons (Bangs, TX), 61-20 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Comanche upgrades its record to 12-6 on the season. The Indians travel to Brock (Brock, TX) to clash with the Eagles in a 3A Region I District 8 bout on Tuesday, January 3. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 20-3. Brock won 53-24 in their recent non-league bout against St. Michael's (Austin, TX)

Next up, the Dragons clash with the Miles Bulldogs (Miles, TX) in a 2A Region I District 8 bout, on Friday, January 6. Bangs will attempt to upgrade on its 8-13 season record. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a 11-4 record after their 31-30 non-league win over Cross Plains (Cross Plains, TX).
