Illinois High School Basketball - Beecher ripped by Peotone
December 28, 2022: Peotone, IL 60468 The Peotone Blue Devils basketball team scored 44 points and held the visiting Beecher Bobcats to 7 in the Blue Devils non-league triumph on Wednesday.
The Blue Devils now sport a 13-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Joliet Catholic for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 29. Peotone will meet a Hilltoppers team coming off a 47-35 non-league win over Plainfield South (Plainfield, IL). The Hilltoppers record now stands at 9-8.
The Bobcats (2-13) will now prepare for their contest against Gardner-South Wilmington (Gardner, IL). The Panthers enter the River Valley contest with a 6-10 record. In their last contest, Gardner-South Wilmington triumphed over Manteno (Manteno, IL), 60-53, in a non-league contest.
