Illinois High School Basketball - Carmel tops Rochester
December 28, 2022: Rochester, IL 62563 Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Carmel Corsairs (Mundelein, IL) and the host Rochester Rockets (Rochester, IL), saw Carmel's basketball squad knock off Rochester by a tally of 44-31.
With the victory, Carmel improves its record to 11-2 on the campaign. The Corsairs travel to Normal Community (Normal, IL) to play the Ironmen in a non-league challenge on Thursday, December 29. The Ironmen come into the challenge with a record of 14-0. Normal Community won 40-35 in their recent non-league challenge against Morton (Morton, IL)
Next up, the Rockets play the Plainfield North Tigers (Plainfield, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, December 29. Rochester will attempt to improve on its 12-3 season record. The Tigers come into the challenge with a 10-4 record after their 63-49 non-league loss to Washington (Washington, IL).
