Texas High School Basketball - Hamlin trounces Cherokee
December 28, 2022: Cherokee, TX 76832 The Hamlin Pied Pipers (Hamlin, TX) basketball crushed the host Cherokee Indians (Cherokee, TX), 50-28 in Wednesday's non-league test.
The Pied Pipers (7-3) will now prepare for their test against Albany (Albany, TX). The Lions go into the 2A Region II District 10 test with a 2-4 record. In their last test, Albany was trounced by Clyde (Clyde, TX), 48-24, in a non-league test.
The Indians now own a 0-7 record. They play next when they travel to Brookesmith for a 1A Region III District 17 test on Friday, January 6.
