Wisconsin High School Basketball - Columbus knocked off by Monona Grove
December 28, 2022: Columbus, WI 53925 The Monona Grove Silver Eagles basketball team scored 58 points and held the host Columbus Cardinals to 42 in the Silver Eagles non-league triumph on Wednesday.
The Silver Eagles now sport a 8-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mineral Point for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 29. Monona Grove will meet a Pointers team coming off a 77-24 non-league win over Janesville Parker (Janesville, WI). The Pointers record now stands at 9-2.
The Cardinals (7-3) will now prepare for their contest against Richland Center (Richland Center, WI). The Hornets enter the non-league contest with a 1-8 record. In their last contest, Richland Center was outscored by DeForest (DeForest, WI), 80-44, in a non-league contest.
