Texas High School Basketball - Coppell overwhelms MacArthur
December 28, 2022: Irving, TX 75062 Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Coppell Cowboys (Coppell, TX) and the host MacArthur Cardinals (Irving, TX), saw Coppell's basketball squad wallop MacArthur by a tally of 57-26.
With the victory, Coppell improves its record to 22-0 on the campaign. The Cowboys travel to Lebanon Trail (Frisco, TX) to confront the Trail Blazers in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, December 28. The Trail Blazers come into the challenge with a record of 15-4. Lebanon Trail won 49-31 in their recent league challenge against Independence (Frisco, TX)
Next up, the Cardinals confront the Richardson Eagles (Richardson, TX) in a 6A Region I District 7 challenge, on Tuesday, January 3. MacArthur will attempt to improve on its 7-9 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 8-12 record after their 1-0 non-league loss to Lake Highlands (Dallas, TX).
