Minnesota High School Basketball - East Central overwhelmed by Kerkhoven-Murdock-Sunburg
December 28, 2022: Kerkhoven, MN 56252 The Kerkhoven-Murdock-Sunburg Fighting Saints basketball team scored 53 points and restricted the visiting East Central Eagles to 22 in the Fighting Saints non-league victory on Wednesday.
The Fighting Saints now sport a 5-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to MACCRAY for a A Section 3 contest on Friday, January 27.
The Eagles (2-7) will now prepare for their contest against St. John's Prep (Collegeville, MN). The Johnnies come into the A Section 5 contest with a 0-1 record. In their last contest, St. John's Prep was routed by Legacy Christian Academy (Andover, MN), 50-16, in a non-league contest.
