Elbert County Blue Devils (Elberton, GA) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Jackson Jaguars (Atlanta, GA), 65-63 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Elbert County upgrades its record to 11-1 on the campaign. The Blue Devils travel to Carrollton (Carrollton, GA) to play the Trojans in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 29. The Trojans come into the bout with a record of 6-4. Carrollton won 48-19 in their recent non-league bout against Cedar Shoals (Athens, GA)
