In Wednesday's non-league outing, the Judson Rockets (Converse, TX) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Westlake Chaparrals (Austin, TX), by a margin of 58-37.

The Rockets (13-10) will now prepare for their outing against Steele (Cibolo, TX). The Knights go into the 6A Region IV District 27 outing with a 12-10 record. In their last outing, Steele smashed Del Rio (Del Rio, TX), 72-20, in a non-league outing.

The Chaparrals now own a 10-9 record. They play next when they host Austin for a 6A Region IV District 26 outing on Friday, December 30. Westlake will clash with a Maroons squad coming off a 79-32 league win over Akins (Austin, TX). The Maroons record now stands at 18-3.
