St. Mary's Academy Belles (Inglewood, CA) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Las Vegas Wildcats (Las Vegas, NV), 48-40 in a non-league bout.

With the win, St. Mary's Academy upgrades its record to 10-5 on the season. The Belles travel to Desert Oasis (Las Vegas, NV) to clash with the Diamondbacks in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 29. The Diamondbacks go into the bout with a record of 6-3. Desert Oasis won 60-36 in their recent non-league bout against Dimond (Anchorage, AK)

Next up, the Wildcats clash with the Silverado Skyhawks (Las Vegas, NV) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 29. Las Vegas will attempt to upgrade on its 4-6 season record. The Skyhawks go into the bout with a 7-7 record after their 38-21 non-league loss to Downey (Downey, CA).
