December 28, 2022: Fayetteville, GA 30215 The Lincoln County Falcons (Fayetteville, TN) basketball nipped the host Starr's Mill Panthers (Fayetteville, GA), 53-50 in Wednesday's non-league test.
The Falcons (12-1) will now prepare for their test against Jefferson (Jefferson, GA). The Dragons go into the non-league test with a 3-9 record. In their last test, Jefferson was tipped by Meade County (Brandenburg, KY), 62-36, in a non-league test.
The Panthers now own a 5-4 record. They play next when they host Fayette County for a AAAA Region 4 test on Tuesday, January 3. Starr's Mill will encounter a Tigers squad coming off a 58-28 non-league loss to Gulf Coast (Naples, FL). The Tigers record now stands at 6-2.
