Illinois High School Basketball - Lincoln-Way West crushes Oak Park-River Forest
December 28, 2022: Oak Park, IL 60302 Lincoln-Way West Warriors (New Lenox, IL) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Oak Park-River Forest Huskies (Oak Park, IL), 62-40 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Lincoln-Way West upgrades its record to 11-3 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to Evanston (Evanston, IL) to play the Wildkits in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 29. The Wildkits come into the bout with a record of 5-7. Evanston lost 54-46 in their recent non-league bout against Benet Academy (Lisle, IL)
Next up, the Huskies play the Proviso West Panthers (Hillside, IL) in a West Suburban - Silver bout, on Friday, January 6. Oak Park-River Forest will attempt to upgrade on its 0-12 season record. The Panthers come into the bout with a 2-11 record after their 54-21 league loss to Downers Grove North (Downers Grove, IL).
