Wimberley Texans (Wimberley, TX) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting McCallum Knights (Austin, TX), 59-44 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Wimberley upgrades its record to 17-3 on the campaign. The Texans host Brock (Brock, TX) to play the Eagles in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 29. The Eagles come into the bout with a record of 17-3. Brock won 36-25 in their recent non-league bout against McCallum (Austin, TX)

Next up, the Knights play the St. Michael's Crusaders (Austin, TX) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 29. McCallum will attempt to upgrade on its 13-6 season record. The Crusaders come into the bout with a 3-5 record after their 46-40 non-league loss to Lago Vista (Lago Vista, TX).
