December 28, 2022: Pittsburgh, PA 15228 Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Mt. Lebanon Blue Devils (Pittsburgh, PA) and the visiting New Lexington Panthers (New Lexington, OH), saw Mt. Lebanon's basketball squad overcome New Lexington by a tally of 57-42.
With the victory, Mt. Lebanon improves its record to 5-3 on the campaign. The Blue Devils host Baldwin (Pittsburgh, PA) to play the Highlanders in a WPIAL 6A 2 challenge on Monday, January 2. The Highlanders come into the challenge with a record of 0-1. Baldwin lost 54-50 in their recent non-league challenge against Penn-Trafford (Harrison City, PA)
Next up, the Panthers play the Blackhawk Cougars (Beaver Falls, PA) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, December 29. New Lexington will attempt to improve on its 9-2 season record. The Cougars come into the challenge with a 6-0 record after their 59-39 non-league win over Hoover (North Canton, OH).
