Washington High School Basketball - Orcas Island over Wahkiakum
December 28, 2022: Eastsound, WA 98245 Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Orcas Island Vikings (Eastsound, WA) and the visiting Wahkiakum Mules (Cathlamet, WA), saw Orcas Island's basketball squad overcome Wahkiakum by a tally of 32-19.
With the victory, Orcas Island improves its record to 1-2 on the campaign. The Vikings travel to Coupeville (Coupeville, WA) to confront the Wolves in a 1B/2B Northwest challenge on Friday, January 6. The Wolves come into the challenge with a record of 2-2.
Next up, the Mules confront the Moses Lake Christian Academy/Covenant Christian (Moses Lake, WA) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, December 29. Wahkiakum will attempt to improve on its 2-3 season record. The come into the challenge with a 6-2 record after their 66-36 non-league loss to Neah Bay (Neah Bay, WA).
