Shaw Raiders (Columbus, GA) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Lee Generals (Montgomery, AL), 65-37 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Shaw upgrades its record to 9-6 on the season. The Raiders host Bainbridge (Bainbridge, GA) to clash with the Bearcats in a AAAA Region 1 bout on Saturday, January 7. The Bearcats go into the bout with a record of 0-11.

Next up, the Generals clash with the Prattville Lions (Prattville, AL) in a 7A Area 3 bout, on Tuesday, January 3. Lee will attempt to upgrade on its 2-6 season record.
