Illinois High School Basketball - Washington tops Plainfield North
December 28, 2022: Washington, IL 61571 Washington Panthers (Washington, IL) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Plainfield North Tigers (Plainfield, IL), 63-49 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Washington upgrades its record to 12-1 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Hyde Park (Chicago, IL) to play the Thunderbirds in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 29. The Thunderbirds come into the bout with a record of 14-2. Hyde Park won 49-47 in their recent non-league bout against Geneseo (Geneseo, IL)
Next up, the Tigers play the Geneseo Maple Leafs (Geneseo, IL) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 29. Plainfield North will attempt to upgrade on its 10-4 season record. The Maple Leafs come into the bout with a 11-3 record after their 49-47 non-league loss to Hyde Park (Chicago, IL).
