December 28, 2022: Tom Bean, TX 75489 Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Saltillo Lions (Saltillo, TX) and the host Tom Bean Tomcats (Tom Bean, TX), saw Saltillo's basketball squad wallop Tom Bean by a tally of 58-27.
With the victory, Saltillo improves its record to 22-2 on the campaign. The Lions travel to Lindsay (Lindsay, TX) to confront the Knights in a non-league challenge on Thursday, December 29. The Knights come into the challenge with a record of 7-3. Lindsay won 45-34 in their recent league challenge against Tioga (Tioga, TX)
Next up, the Tomcats confront the Celeste Blue Devils (Celeste, TX) in a 2A Region II District 14 challenge, on Friday, January 6. Tom Bean will attempt to improve on its 0-8 season record.
