Texas High School Basketball - Stratford topped by West Plains
December 28, 2022: Amarillo, TX 79119 The West Plains Wolves basketball team scored 48 points and restricted the visiting Stratford Elks to 40 in the Wolves non-league victory on Wednesday.
The Wolves now sport a 5-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Godley for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 29. West Plains will battle a Wildcats team coming off a 54-32 non-league loss to Canyon (Canyon, TX). The Wildcats record now stands at 15-5.
The Elks (12-6) will now prepare for their contest against Americas (El Paso, TX). The Trail Blazers come into the non-league contest with a 14-6 record. In their last contest, Americas was defeated by Godley (Godley, TX), 47-36, in a non-league contest.
