The William Monroe Dragons (Stanardsville, VA) basketball knocked off the visiting Covenant Eagles (Charlottesville, VA), 53-43 in Wednesday's non-league test.

The Dragons (5-1) will now prepare for their test against Turner Ashby (Bridgewater, VA). The Knights go into the non-league test with a 8-2 record. In their last test, Turner Ashby went down by Millbrook (Winchester, VA), 40-34, in a non-league test.

The Eagles now own a 5-4 record. They play next when they travel to Charlottesville for a non-league test on Thursday, December 29.
