New York High School Ice Hockey - Fairport succumbs to Suffern
December 28, 2022: Suffern, NY 10901 The Suffern Mounties (Suffern, NY) ice hockey bounced the visiting Fairport Red Raiders (Fairport, NY), 6-1 in Wednesday's non-league battle.
The Mounties now hold a 4-0 record. They play next when they travel to West Genesee for a non-league battle on Thursday, December 29. Suffern will play a Wildcats team coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Shenendehowa (Clifton Park, NY). The Wildcats record now stands at 2-0.
The Red Raiders (0-1) will now prepare for their battle against Shenendehowa (Clifton Park, NY). The Plainsmen come into the non-league battle with a 3-5 record. In their last battle, Shenendehowa was ripped by West Genesee (Camillus, NY), 2-1, in a non-league battle.
