Virginia High School Basketball - Abingdon knocked off by Auburn
December 28, 2022: Riner, VA 24149 The Auburn Eagles basketball team scored 46 points and held the visiting Abingdon Falcons to 35 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Wednesday.
The Eagles now sport a 4-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Northside for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 29. Auburn will battle a Vikings team coming off a 60-42 non-league win over Glenvar (Salem, VA). The Vikings record now stands at 6-0.
The Falcons (1-4) will now prepare for their contest against Lee (Jonesville, VA). The Generals enter the non-league contest with a 0-0 record.
