December 28, 2022: Oakland, MD 21550 Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Southern Rams (Oakland, MD) and the visiting Petersburg Vikings (Petersburg, WV), saw Southern's basketball squad hold off Petersburg by a tally of 48-43.
With the victory, Southern improves its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The Rams travel to Mountain Ridge (Frostburg, MD) to play the Miners in a challenge on Wednesday, January 4. The Miners come into the challenge with a record of 0-0.
