South Carolina High School Basketball - Battery Creek nudges Airport

December 28, 2023: West Columbia, SC 29170

Battery Creek Dolphins (Beaufort, SC) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Airport Eagles (West Columbia, SC), 67-60 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Battery Creek upgrades its record to 8-5 on the season. The Dolphins travel to Lee Central (Bishopville, SC) to clash with the Stallions in a non-league bout on Friday, December 29. The Stallions go into the bout with a record of 8-4. Lee Central won 73-48 in their recent non-league bout against New Hope Leadership Academy (Columbia, SC)

Next up, the Eagles clash with the Aiken Fighting Green Hornets (Aiken, SC) in a AAAA Region 4 bout, on Friday, January 5. Airport will attempt to upgrade on its 5-9 season record.
