Maryland High School Basketball - Allegany tops Eastern Tech
December 28, 2023: Cumberland, MD 21502 Allegany Campers (Cumberland, MD) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Eastern Tech Mavericks (Baltimore, MD), 64-46 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Allegany upgrades its record to 6-0 on the campaign. The Campers host Northern (Accident, MD) to play the Huskies in a Appalachian bout on Tuesday, January 2. The Huskies come into the bout with a record of 3-3. Northern won 46-43 in their recent non-league bout against Perry Traditional Academy (Pittsburgh, PA)
Next up, the Mavericks play the Patapsco Patriots (Baltimore, MD) in a Baltimore County 2 bout, on Wednesday, January 3. Eastern Tech will attempt to upgrade on its 6-3 season record. The Patriots come into the bout with a 3-4 record after their 63-51 non-league win over GVCS Broadfording (Hagerstown, MD).
