Elder Panthers (Cincinnati, OH) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Anderson Raptors (Cincinnati, OH), 56-39 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Elder upgrades its record to 7-0 on the season. The Panthers travel to Conner (Hebron, KY) to play the Cougars in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 30. The Cougars go into the bout with a record of 3-7. Conner won 61-58 in their recent non-league bout against Linden-McKinley (Columbus, OH)

Next up, the Raptors play the Little Miami Panthers (Morrow, OH) in a Eastern Cincinnati bout, on Tuesday, January 2. Anderson will attempt to upgrade on its 4-2 season record. The Panthers go into the bout with a 4-4 record after their 65-41 non-league win over Monroe (Monroe, OH).
