Oregon High School Basketball - La Pine ripped by Astoria
December 28, 2023: Astoria, OR 97103 The Astoria Fishermen basketball team scored 70 points and held the visiting La Pine Hawks to 33 in the Fishermen non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Fishermen now sport a 8-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to North Valley for a non-league contest on Friday, December 29. Astoria will battle a Knights team coming off a 52-51 non-league win over Warrenton (Warrenton, OR). The Knights record now stands at 4-5.
The Hawks (6-5) will now prepare for their contest against Estacada (Estacada, OR). The Rangers enter the non-league contest with a 5-5 record. In their last contest, Estacada was routed by Valley Catholic (Beaverton, OR), 69-46, in a non-league contest.
