Kentucky High School Basketball - Walton-Verona tops Augusta
December 28, 2023: Augusta, KY 41002 Walton-Verona Bearcats (Walton, KY) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Augusta Panthers (Augusta, KY), 74-63 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Walton-Verona upgrades its record to 9-3 on the campaign. The Bearcats host North Oldham (Goshen, KY) to play the Mustangs in a non-league bout on Friday, December 29. The Mustangs come into the bout with a record of 9-2. North Oldham won 88-54 in their recent non-league bout against Scott (Covington, KY)
