December 28, 2023: Aurora, IL 60505 The Aurora East Tomcats basketball team (Aurora, IL), dropped 63-55 in Thursday's non-league battle with the visiting Jefferson J-Hawks (Rockford, IL)
The J-Hawks now possess a 6-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Harlem for a Northern Illinois 10 battle on Friday, January 5.
The Tomcats (3-11) will now prepare for their battle against South Elgin (South Elgin, IL). The Storm come into the Upstate Eight battle with a 7-8 record. In their last battle, South Elgin dropped by Hoffman Estates (Hoffman Estates, IL), 51-34, in a non-league battle.
