The Black Bears now possess a 16-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Grissom for a non-league battle on Thursday, December 28. Austin will battle a Tigers team coming off a 55-47 non-league win over Madison Academy (Madison, AL). The Tigers record now stands at 9-8.
The Cougars (5-5) will now prepare for their battle against Page (Franklin, TN). The Patriots come into the 4A District 10 battle with a 6-7 record. In their last battle, Page was nudged by Siegel (Murfreesboro, TN), 60-53, in a non-league battle.
