California High School Basketball - San Gorgonio can't hold off Barstow

The Barstow Aztecs basketball team scored 60 points and held the host San Gorgonio Spartans to 56 in the Aztecs non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Aztecs now sport a 6-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Serrano for a non-league contest on Friday, December 29. Barstow will battle a Diamondbacks team coming off a 53-44 non-league win over Jurupa Valley (Jurupa Valley, CA). The Diamondbacks record now stands at 8-8.

The Spartans (1-13) will now prepare for their contest against Jurupa Valley (Jurupa Valley, CA). The Jaguars enter the non-league contest with a 6-12 record. In their last contest, Jurupa Valley was nudged by Serrano (Phelan, CA), 53-44, in a non-league contest.
