Arkansas High School Basketball - Bauxite topped by Jacksonville
December 28, 2023: Jacksonville, AR 72022 The Jacksonville Titans basketball team scored 64 points and restricted the visiting Bauxite Miners to 48 in the Titans non-league victory on Thursday.
The Titans now sport a 9-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Sheridan for a non-league contest on Friday, December 29. Jacksonville will battle a Yellowjackets team coming off a 61-49 non-league win over Bauxite (Bauxite, AR). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 9-4.
The Miners (5-7) will now prepare for their contest against Little Rock Christian Academy (Little Rock, AR). The Warriors come into the 4A Region 5 contest with a 10-5 record. In their last contest, Little Rock Christian Academy prevailed over McDonough (McDonough, GA), 65-50, in a non-league contest.
