December 28, 2023: Berea, KY 40403 The Berea Pirates (Berea, KY) basketball nipped the visiting Parker Wyverns (Louisville, KY), 59-54 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Pirates (7-4) will now prepare for their test against Oneida Baptist Institute (Oneida, KY). The Mountaineers go into the non-league test with a 6-5 record. In their last test, Oneida Baptist Institute got by Cordia (Hazard, KY), 87-20, in a non-league test.
The Wyverns now own a 3-6 record. They play next when they host Phelps for a non-league test on Friday, December 29. Parker will encounter a Hornets squad coming off a 74-70 non-league win over Buckhorn (Buckhorn, KY). The Hornets record now stands at 4-5.
