Berkeley Prep Buccaneers (Tampa, FL) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Palmetto Panthers (Miami, FL), 63-62 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Berkeley Prep upgrades its record to 8-1 on the season. The Buccaneers travel to Pembroke Pines Charter (Pembroke Pines, FL) to clash with the Jaguars in a non-league bout on Friday, December 29. The Jaguars go into the bout with a record of 10-2. Pembroke Pines Charter won 87-56 in their recent non-league bout against Oxon Hill (Oxon Hill, MD)

Next up, the Panthers clash with the Oxon Hill Clippers (Oxon Hill, MD) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 29. Palmetto will attempt to upgrade on its 5-5 season record.
