December 28, 2023: Easton, PA 18045 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Bethlehem Christian Panthers (Easton, PA) and the visiting Jim Thorpe Olympians (Jim Thorpe, PA), saw Bethlehem Christian's basketball squad hold off Jim Thorpe by a tally of 44-43.
With the victory, Bethlehem Christian improves its record to 5-4 on the campaign. The Panthers host Lehigh Christian Academy (Allentown, PA) to confront the Mustangs in a Atlantic Coast Christian challenge on Friday, January 5. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a record of 3-4. Lehigh Christian Academy lost 66-35 in their recent non-league challenge against Wilson Area (Easton, PA)
Next up, the Olympians confront the Blue Mountain Eagles (Schuylkill Haven, PA) in a Schuylkill County 1 challenge, on Thursday, January 4. Jim Thorpe will attempt to improve on its 1-11 season record.
