Washington High School Basketball - Bishop Blanchet nips Villa Park
December 28, 2023: Seattle, WA 98103 Bishop Blanchet Bears (Seattle, WA) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Villa Park Spartans (Villa Park, CA), 51-48 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Bishop Blanchet upgrades its record to 3-5 on the season. The Bears travel to Liberty (Brentwood, CA) to play the Lions in a non-league bout on Friday, December 29. The Lions go into the bout with a record of 8-1. Liberty won 63-62 in their recent non-league bout against Bingham (South Jordan, UT)
Next up, the Spartans play the Bingham Miners (South Jordan, UT) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 29. Villa Park will attempt to upgrade on its 7-9 season record. The Miners go into the bout with a 3-6 record after their 63-62 non-league loss to Liberty (Brentwood, CA).
