Nebraska High School Basketball - Bishop Neumann nips Seward
December 28, 2023: Wahoo, NE 68066 Bishop Neumann Cavaliers (Wahoo, NE) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Seward Bluejays (Seward, NE), 45-43 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Bishop Neumann upgrades its record to 8-0 on the campaign. The Cavaliers host Wahoo (Wahoo, NE) to play the Warriors in a C1 District 3 bout on Friday, December 29. The Warriors come into the bout with a record of 6-2. Wahoo won 74-52 in their recent non-league bout against Mount Michael Benedictine (Elkhorn, NE)
Next up, the Bluejays play the Beatrice Orangemen (Beatrice, NE) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 5. Seward will attempt to upgrade on its 3-5 season record. The Orangemen come into the bout with a 1-6 record after their 57-56 non-league loss to O'Neill (O'Neill, NE).
