New Jersey High School Basketball - Bloomfield can't hold off Glen Ridge
December 28, 2023: Glen Ridge, NJ 07028 The Glen Ridge Ridgers basketball team scored 41 points and held the visiting Bloomfield Bengals to 39 in the Ridgers non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Ridgers now sport a 4-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Nutley for a Super Essex - Independence contest on Wednesday, January 3. Glen Ridge will battle a Maroon Raiders team coming off a 74-55 non-league loss to Kearny (Kearny, NJ). The Maroon Raiders record now stands at 1-4.
The Bengals (1-5) will now prepare for their contest against Bard (New York, NY). The enter the non-league contest with a 4-6 record. In their last contest, Bard nudged Abundant Life Academy (Nutley, NJ), 60-24, in a non-league contest.
