The Sumter Central Jaguars basketball team scored 58 points and held the visiting Blount Leopards to 47 in the Jaguars non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Jaguars now sport a 12-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Thomasville for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 6.

The Leopards (6-9) will now prepare for their contest against Mosley (Lynn Haven, FL). The Dolphins enter the non-league contest with a 8-5 record. In their last contest, Mosley was defeated by Lakeside (Atlanta, GA), 49-43, in a non-league contest.
