California High School Basketball - Branson nips La Mirada
December 28, 2023: Ross, CA 94957 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Branson Bulls (Ross, CA) and the visiting La Mirada Matadores (La Mirada, CA), saw Branson's basketball squad hold off La Mirada by a tally of 82-80.
With the victory, Branson improves its record to 8-4 on the campaign. The Bulls travel to Campbell Hall (North Hollywood, CA) to play the Vikings in a non-league challenge on Friday, December 29. The Vikings come into the challenge with a record of 4-9. Campbell Hall won 76-62 in their recent non-league challenge against Sunnyslope (Phoenix, AZ)
Next up, the Matadores play the Lynwood Knights (Lynwood, CA) in a Gateway challenge, on Wednesday, January 3. La Mirada will attempt to improve on its 11-5 season record. The Knights come into the challenge with a 10-4 record after their 86-66 non-league win over Hesperia (Hesperia, CA).
