Brecksville-Broadview Heights Bees (Broadview Heights, OH) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Wharton Wildcats (Tampa, FL), 42-41 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Brecksville-Broadview Heights upgrades its record to 7-0 on the campaign. The Bees travel to Lakota East (Liberty Township, OH) to play the Thunderhawks in a non-league bout on Friday, December 29. The Thunderhawks enter the game with a record of 6-2. Lakota East won 48-42 in their recent non-league game against Rickards (Tallahassee, FL)

With the defeat, Wharton moves to 6-6 on the year. The Wildcats host Middleton (Tampa, FL) to face the Tigers in a non-league game on Tuesday, January 9. The Tigers enter the game with a record of 1-8. Middleton lost 56-40 in their recent non-league game against Steinbrenner (Lutz, FL)
