December 28, 2023: Columbus, OH 43223 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Columbus Academy Vikings (Gahanna, OH) and the host Briggs Bruins (Columbus, OH), saw Columbus Academy's basketball squad hold off Briggs by a count of 44-37.
With the victory, Columbus Academy upgrades its record to 7-1 on the campaign. The Vikings travel to Buckeye Valley (Delaware, OH) to play the Barons in a Central Buckeye League challenge on Saturday, January 6. The Barons come into the challenge with a record of 3-6. Buckeye Valley won 61-31 in their recent non-league challenge against Amanda-Clearcreek (Amanda, OH)
