Virginia High School Basketball - Cave Spring can't hold off Broadway
December 28, 2023: Roanoke, VA 24018 The Broadway Gobblers basketball team scored 51 points and restricted the host Cave Spring Knights to 47 in the Gobblers non-league victory on Thursday.
The Gobblers now sport a 8-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Floyd County for a non-league contest on Friday, December 29. Broadway will battle a Buffaloes team coming off a 72-52 non-league loss to Jefferson Forest (Forest, VA). The Buffaloes record now stands at 4-3.
The Knights (4-4) will now prepare for their contest against Jefferson Forest (Forest, VA). The Cavaliers come into the non-league contest with a 6-2 record. In their last contest, Jefferson Forest edged Floyd County (Floyd, VA), 72-52, in a non-league contest.
