Washington High School Basketball - Bush winner over Vashon Island
December 28, 2023: Seattle, WA 98112 The Bush Blazers (Seattle, WA) basketball felled the visiting Vashon Island Pirates (Vashon Island, WA), 59-44 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Blazers (6-2) will now prepare for their test against Olympic (Bremerton, WA). The Trojans go into the non-league test with a 3-4 record. In their last test, Olympic thwarted University Prep (Seattle, WA), 41-38, in a non-league test.
The Pirates now own a 1-6 record. They play next when they host Bellevue Christian for a 1A Nisqually test on Wednesday, January 3. Vashon Island will encounter a Vikings squad coming off a 66-59 non-league loss to Squalicum (Bellingham, WA). The Vikings record now stands at 5-1.
