Kentucky High School Basketball - Calloway County tipped by North Laurel
December 28, 2023: Murray, KY 42071 The North Laurel Jaguars basketball team scored 67 points and held the host Calloway County Lakers to 61 in the Jaguars non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Jaguars now sport a 3-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Taylor County for a non-league contest on Friday, December 29. North Laurel will meet a Cardinals team coming off a 63-45 non-league win over Bourbon County (Paris, KY). The Cardinals record now stands at 7-7.
The Lakers (2-7) will now prepare for their contest against Bourbon County (Paris, KY). The Colonels enter the non-league contest with a 7-5 record. In their last contest, Bourbon County was nudged by Taylor County (Campbellsville, KY), 63-45, in a non-league contest.
