Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Clarion Area holds off Cameron County
December 28, 2023: Clarion, PA 16214 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Clarion Area Bobcats (Clarion, PA) and the visiting Cameron County Raiders (Emporium, PA), saw Clarion Area's basketball squad hold off Cameron County by a tally of 54-53.
With the victory, Clarion Area improves its record to 4-3 on the campaign. The Bobcats travel to East Forest (Marienville, PA) to confront the Bears in a Keystone Shortway challenge on Tuesday, January 2. The Bears come into the challenge with a record of 2-3. East Forest lost 54-33 in their recent league challenge against Union (Rimersburg, PA)
Next up, the Raiders confront the Marion Center Stingers (Marion Center, PA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 29. Cameron County will attempt to improve on its 6-2 season record. The Stingers come into the challenge with a 6-4 record after their 53-46 non-league loss to Punxsutawney (Punxsutawney, PA).
