Tournament Opponent (, ) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Canyon Springs Pioneers (North Las Vegas, NV), 74-64 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Tournament Opponent upgrades its record to 44-184 on the season. The travel to Wimberley (Wimberley, TX) to play the Texans in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 28. The Texans go into the bout with a record of 9-7. Wimberley won 62-56 in their recent league bout against Bandera (Bandera, TX)

Next up, the Pioneers play the Eleanor McMain Mustangs (New Orleans, LA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 29. Canyon Springs will attempt to upgrade on its 6-6 season record.
