Georgia High School Basketball - Carrollton over South Gwinnett
December 28, 2023: Snellville, GA 30078 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Carrollton Trojans (Carrollton, GA) and the host South Gwinnett Comets (Snellville, GA), saw Carrollton's basketball squad overcome South Gwinnett by a tally of 54-46.
With the victory, Carrollton improves its record to 8-3 on the campaign. The Trojans travel to East Coweta (Sharpsburg, GA) to play the Indians in a AAAAAAA Region 2 challenge on Friday, January 5. The Indians come into the challenge with a record of 6-6.
Next up, the Comets play the Newton Rams (Covington, GA) in a AAAAAAA Region 4 challenge, on Friday, January 5. South Gwinnett will attempt to improve on its 8-5 season record.
