Louisiana High School Basketball - Fort Bend Hightower nips Carver Collegiate Academy
December 28, 2023: New Orleans, LA 70126 Fort Bend Hightower Hurricanes (Missouri City, TX) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Carver Collegiate Academy Rams (New Orleans, LA), 59-55 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Fort Bend Hightower upgrades its record to 12-4 on the campaign. The Hurricanes travel to Fort Bend Clements (Sugar Land, TX) to play the Rangers in a 6A Region III District 20 bout on Wednesday, January 3. The Rangers come into the bout with a record of 18-0. Fort Bend Clements won 47-35 in their recent non-league bout against Westlake (Austin, TX)
Next up, the Rams play the Broadmoor Buccaneers (Baton Rouge, LA) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, January 4. Carver Collegiate Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 8-6 season record.
